After captivating over 65,000 spectators, the double Molière Award-winning play, 4211 km, returns to the stage of the Studio Marigny.
This poignant and politically charged work has established itself as one of the most remarkable shows of recent seasons. Acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, the play will continue to resonate with its powerful and moving message, starting February 4, 2026.

4,211 km is the distance between Paris and Tehran, the distance traveled by Mina and Fereydoun who came from Iran to seek refuge in France after a revolution that was stolen from them.
Their daughter Yalda, born in Paris, tells us about their exile, their fight for freedom, their love for their country, and their hope of returning. She takes us on a journey between her two worlds: her family, uprooted people who never complain, and French society, in which she desperately seeks her place.

This is the story of a legacy that is both loved and hated, the story of men and women seeking to forge a new path. As the people of Iran have been in revolt for over a year, this play resonates in a particular way. It sheds light on the barbarity of the Islamic regime and bears witness to the struggle waged by Iranians for more than 44 years – those who are no longer there, those who have remained, and those in exile.

Assistant directors: Amandine Chatelain and Laura Favier
Set design: Caroline Frachet
Lighting design: Gaspard Gauthier
Sound and video creation: Erwann Kerroc'h

Awards and Nominations:
Winner of the SACD fund
Audience Award and Special Mention at the Théâtre 13 Awards – 2022
Professional Jury Prize, Audience Prize, Young Jury Prize, from the 2023 Anjou Festival Companies Competition

2 Molières 2024: Best Private Theatre Show, Female Revelation for Olivia Pavlou-Graham.

Press release:
"A magnificent play" - LE PARISIEN

"A sweeping and moving story, more essential and relevant than ever."
