The Montmartre Arenas Solidarity Festival and the LaFraise label present: The Ambulance Driver, Lïa Joani, Nuit furie<p> <strong>The paramedic</strong><br> With flashing lights and blaring sirens, the ambulance driver speeds through an imaginary, French-speaking Manhattan. Behind the windshield of his customized ambulance, catchy choruses resonate, fueled by grunge riffs, synthwave beats, and West German monophonic keyboards. All in the language of Catherine Ringer.<br><br> <strong>Lïa Joani</strong><br> In an alternative pop/rock universe, Lïa Joani, accompanied by a violinist and a flautist, blends poetry, sarcasm, and social commentary. As a child, Lïa Joani was a bundle of energy. She was the kid who shouted loudly and, at four years old, phonetically wrote books and songs. She was the quirky punk teenager who annoyed everyone and wanted to be understood.<br><br> Fascinated by her father, a flautist in an Irish folk group whose concerts she followed from a very young age, she decided to take up the violin. Later, she explored dance, theater, guitar, and bass, and sang in Rouen bars with her punk/rock band. Lïa became an actress, director, and writer. But music obsessed her, and she wanted to learn everything rigorously: jazz, flamenco, gospel, musical theater...<br> She then put aside theatre and began to write and compose, seeking to weave a link between all her musical influences. Her percussive writing on trap and electro-pop beats often leaves live instruments at the center: violin, guitar and flute.<br><br> Inspired by her early days as an actress, she released her first EP/story about her bipolar disorder in September 2024. Five tracks linked by spoken interludes: "Fire and Ice." After several concert dates, she returned to the studio to produce a series of singles, which were released gradually starting in May 2025.</p><p> <strong>Night Fury</strong><br> They are a French electro-rock group composed of 4 musicians. An invitation to let go.<br> Nuit Furie is a bridge between a concert hall and a club. Organic lyrics in French, a poetic outlet for bodies to let loose.<br> Nuit Furie was born from the collaboration between Fiona and Raphaël. Together, they wanted to create music that blends live instruments and electronics. This desire led to a collaboration with two musicians: Hugo (bass) and Geoffrey (drums & pads), who recorded on their first self-titled EP. They create together<br> Nuit Furie's first live performance.</p>
