"It's a real source of pride to see, performance after performance, such a diverse audience flocking to applaud this unique and memorable show and giving us such enthusiastic feedback afterward. As a producer, I'm delighted to see a renewal of generations, an audience that extends beyond the family," says Laurent Bentata, the general manager of the Théâtre Mogador. Adapted from the famous Disney animated film, which is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, this musical has already captivated over 112 million people in 9 languages, across 25 countries, on every continent. It's one of the most spectacular shows ever produced in France. All generations find themselves drawn to this universal story and its music composed by renowned artists, from Elton John to Hans Zimmer and Lebo M. Julie Taymor's original staging offers an exceptional experience both on stage and in the audience. Spectacular sets, costumes, and choreography abound. Each night, nearly 50 actor-singer-dancers, 11 musicians, and 80 technicians bring this show to life, with over 200 masks, 200 puppets, and 100 musical instruments used to offer spectators an unforgettable experience. The Lion King adventure continues at the Mogador Theatre until January 31, 2026! The story in a nutshell: Set against the majestic backdrop of the Serengeti Plains and set to the evocative sounds of Africa, Disney's Musical tells the powerful and moving story of Simba – the epic adventure of his journey towards his destiny as King of the Pride Lands. The 3:00 PM performances on Sunday, October 12, 2025, Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, benefit from the Relax program, making it easier for people with disabilities (autism, multiple disabilities, intellectual or cognitive disabilities, etc.) to attend. These disabilities may sometimes lead to atypical behavior during performances.
