Artketeepe presents the world-renowned "Soweto Choir" Gospel Choir for a powerful and unique musical journey from South Africa.<p> The world-renowned Soweto Choir returns with a powerful performance project centered on the theme of peace, a subject that has preoccupied us for decades. Performed by a team of six singers, dancers, a percussionist, and featuring a narrative projection, this tour extends beyond France, encompassing Europe, Africa, and the world.</p><p> This 2025-2027 project is filled with beautiful South African harmonies, dancing to celebrate Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Gandhi and the message of forgiveness, peace and tolerance in the world.</p><p> It is in Suresnes on Saturday, December 20th that the Soweto Choir will be setting up camp, invited by the Suresnes Gospel Hearts choir, a group of about forty choristers led by Didier Quérin aka Deeray, who for more than 15 years have been thrilling crowds with their passion for Gospel.</p><p> All we need is Peace, Love and Music!</p><p> The Soweto Choir Concert:</p><p> Get ready for an enchanting show! The Soweto Choir, South Africa's iconic choir, invites you to an unforgettable evening of songs and dances inspired by African traditions on Saturday, December 20th at 8:30 pm in Suresnes. Led by Jimmy Mulovhedzi, this group, with its unique gospel style, brilliantly blends authenticity and modernity, offering a vibrant tribute to South African culture.</p><p> The Soweto Choir Master Class:</p><p> The singers of the Soweto Choir share their traditional South African songs and Gospel repertoire, their vocal warm-up techniques, while also telling us pieces of their history, apartheid, their customs, anecdotes... more than a Master Class, a true encounter.
