Chopin / Liszt

Candlelit piano recital in the Latin Quarter. Chopin: Military Polonaise, Ballade, 24 Preludes, Scherzo, Mazurka, and Waltz.
Liszt: Consolation and Hungarian Rhapsody.
Chopin dedicated his various compositions to his native Poland. His piano works alone encapsulate the full spectrum of human emotions.

A small jewel of Baroque art built in 1733, the Church of Saint-Ephrem, renowned for its acoustics, is nestled in a verdant setting in the heart of historic Paris (Latin Quarter), near the Panthéon and the Sorbonne.
The peace and serenity that reign there make it a privileged venue for classical music.
The numerous concerts held there are performed by artists, all graduates of the Paris Conservatory.
