Live and recorded music
Between Dogs and Wolves plunges us into an epic journey through time, revealing the inner lives of three characters living in different eras: 1850, 1960, and today. By retracing their paths, the play offers a sensitive exploration of the collective memories that shape us, marked by the revolts, the impulses for emancipation, and the fractures that still run through us today.
A true testament to the human condition, the performance sketches a world imbued with hope and bodies in motion, shining a light on those whom history has relegated to the shadows, but who yearn to be reborn. Conceived like a film with successive scenes, the stage opens to eight virtuoso performers who draw us into an epic adventure blending comedy, acrobatics, and dance. Alexandra Stréliski's music accompanies the drama like a living breath.
Her sensitive and cinematic writing weaves an organic link between bodies, eras and emotions, giving the show an intimate and contemporary depth, ardently magnifying the idea of a humane and united society.
