Nadir Ben invites you to embark with him on his "musical journey, like an ode to North African music in its plurality", accompanied by musicians of choice.<p> Nadir is a singer who draws his inspiration from both shores of the Mediterranean. He was immersed in the heritage of Andalusian music from his early childhood in Tlemcen, where he was introduced to it at a young age. He was later nurtured by the vibrant songs of Oran raï and the rhythms of the Gnawa. He thus explores a range of styles, from the sharp edge of folk guitar to the mesmerizing groove of Saharan music, and also through the Hispano-Maghrebi influence that characterizes the essence of his musical heritage.</p><p> For it is in Oran, a city with a strong Spanish influence, that Nadir finds his inspiration and tenderly sings of the romanticism and poetry of North African life, in response to the turmoil that has marked the history of the southern shores of the Mediterranean.
