Shakespeare: The Complete Works! is the wacky journey of three madcaps determined to perform all of Shakespeare's plays in 1 hour and 20 minutes!<div> From "Kitchen Nightmares" to Freudian analyses, via Brassens and a Rugby match, embark on the most anticipated theatrical adventure of the year, according to my mother's book club.</div><div><br></div><div> William Shakespeare... Actor, playwright, poet, philosopher. A man whose literary genius has continued to influence writing and thought for centuries after him.</div><div><br></div><div> And yet: how well do we really know his work?</div><div><br></div><div> We therefore propose the following challenge:</div><div> The aim is to review his 37 plays in 1 hour and 20 minutes, in order to prove to the world that there is nothing philosophically insurmountable in Hamlet, that the whole of the War of the Roses and Shakespeare's history plays can be summed up as a vulgar rugby match and that Quentin Tarantino has nothing to envy from Titus Andronicus.</div><div><br></div><div> We say "No" to classical Shakespeare, but "Yes" to visionary Shakespeare!</div><div> "No" to dusty Shakespeare, but "Yes" to Shakespeare who loves a good laugh!</div><div> "No" to the self-absorbed Shakespeare, but "Yes" to the approachable, friendly Shakespeare, a lover of local beer, always ready to help out a friend... uh... well: "Yes" to the Shakespeare accessible to all!</div><div><br></div><div> We may not do him justice, but at least we will!</div>
