After playing to sold-out audiences on Broadway, Shrek The Musical brings together all the colorful characters from the cult DreamWorks animated film at the Folies Bergère, live, in a parody of fairy tales with uproarious dialogue. The story: Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek whose precious solitude is shattered by an invasion of fairy tale characters, banished from their kingdom by the tyrannical Lord Farquaad. In exchange for evicting his "enchanted" squatters, the king asks Shrek, accompanied by a very talkative donkey, to rescue Princess Fiona, who is imprisoned by a dragon, and bring her back with the sole purpose of marrying her and becoming king! But the princess is hiding a terrifying secret that will lead Shrek and Donkey on a thrilling adventure… Running time: 100 minutes
