It brings to light a seminal work: *Le Souffleur de la Peur* (The Whisperer of Fear), Matéi Visniec's very first play, which has remained unpublished until now. For the first time in France, the author is directly involved in the creative process as a dramaturg alongside Victor Quezada-Perez. This project crowns twenty-two years of exceptional artistic partnership: the director and actor has already staged and performed in twelve of Matéi Visniec's plays! A deep and lasting partnership, unanimously praised by critics, from the cult radio program *Le Masque et la Plume* to the newspaper *L'Humanité*, and including *Le Figaro*.</div><div><br></div><div> The story plunges us into an atmosphere as mysterious as it is unsettling. On a café terrace at dusk, Monsieur Bruno delivers a dizzying monologue to a strangely silent man. Before his eyes, the banality of everyday life is transformed: every passerby becomes a spy, every gesture a conspiracy, every smile a plot. He dissects the workings of a society subjected to an invisible machine, whose ultimate product is fear. But who is this mute interlocutor, and how far will Monsieur Bruno go in his paranoid delusion? Far from a conventional approach, the staging embraces the poetry and physical demands of clowning to embody this tragedy of solitude.</div><div><br></div><div> Founded in 2025 in Les Vignères near Cavaillon, on a former estate—Château Blanc—built in 1787, the company Les Mains Bleues (The Blue Hands) was born from a desire to work with the raw material of words alongside stage performers. This collective of artists, rich in diverse backgrounds and perspectives, shares a deep love of words and, more generally, of language. Thus, "Les Mains Bleues" finds its origin in a collection of poems, Chair Bleue (Blue Flesh, 2023), where the body, desire, and poetic creation are central themes.</div><div><br></div><div> The company's research focuses primarily on poetry (both as a distinct genre and in its most everyday manifestations), the courage of truth, and the necessity of writing to resist. A question we explore is: how can poetry be expressed in the theatre? How does it find its place? Why is defending poetry not a snobbish and elitist affectation but a political necessity that concerns the common good, the city?</div>
