A timeless classic by Georges Feydeau<p> Mr. Follavoine, a porcelain manufacturer, invited a distinguished client to lunch at his apartment: Chouilloux, an influential official at the Ministry of War who was to decide on the French Army's purchase of chamber pots for soldiers. He hoped to win the contract, having developed a system of supposedly unbreakable pots.</p><p> To improve his chances, he also invited Madame Chouilloux and her lover, Horace Truchet. Chouilloux's marital misfortune was common knowledge; only he was unaware of the betrayal.</p><p> But an unfortunate event will disrupt Follavoine's plans. His wife, Julie, still in curlers and dressing gown, comes to find him in his office to complain about the whims of their son Hervé, known as Toto: the latter, who "wasn't" that morning, stubbornly refuses to swallow the purgative intended for him.</p><p> Chouilloux arrives in the meantime and tries to play the conciliator, having himself been treated some time ago for "relaxed constipation"... but not of the same type.</p><p> What follows is a series of nightmarish misunderstandings for Follavoine, but hilarious ones for the audience...</p><p> The show will be punctuated with songs.</p>
